Fanatec Gran Turismo® DD Pro (8 Nm) – PS5, PS4 & PC
The Fanatec Gran Turismo® DD Pro (8 Nm) is a complete direct-drive system developed for Gran Turismo and officially licensed for PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4. The included Boost Kit 180 unlocks 8 Nm peak torque, while QR2 Lite connects the dedicated steering wheel directly to the motor shaft. A two-pedal set, table clamp and required cables are included for a desk or compatible cockpit installation.

Bundle components
Wheel base
The Gran Turismo DD Pro uses a custom direct-drive motor, with the wheel attached directly to the motor shaft. The Boost Kit 180 raises peak torque from 5 Nm to 8 Nm. FluxBarrier technology is designed to improve efficiency and smoothness, while a contactless Hall sensor measures steering position. The aluminium housing is both the structural chassis and a passive heat sink, so no cooling fan is required. An internal slip ring transfers power and data to the wheel.
Steering wheel
The included wheel was designed by Polyphony Digital for Gran Turismo. Its round 280 mm format uses a tactile rubber grip and blue centre stripe. A white OLED display provides Tuning Menu access and supported telemetry, while the RevLED strip uses yellow, red and blue LEDs. One main 5-way directional stick and four additional 5-way sticks sit alongside the PlayStation controls and shifter paddles. QR2 Lite Wheel-Side is preinstalled.
Pedal set
The supplied CSL Pedals include throttle and brake. The steel pedal arms and bases use contactless 12-bit Hall sensors. The brake combines a stiffer spring with a polyurethane foam damper for progressive resistance. Pedal spacing and face height are adjustable, and the modular design supports inverted rig mounting. The pedals connect to the wheel base through the included RJ12 cable.
Mounting and included hardware
The CSL DD Table Clamp supports tops from 5 to 60 mm thick. The wheel base can also be hard-mounted from the bottom or sides through its T-slot rails with the supplied M6 T-nuts; mounting bolts are not included. The front inserts are for peripherals, not cockpit mounting. The pedals can be floor-mounted or secured to a rig.
Software and configuration
The wheel base provides PlayStation and PC operating modes, including compatibility modes for older titles. Firmware is updated through the Fanatec PC driver on Windows. The Standard Tuning Menu offers an automatic profile and one custom setup, while the Advanced menu adds five custom setups. Settings include steering sensitivity, force-feedback strength, damping, friction and effect intensity.
Upgrade options
The separately sold CSL Pedals Clutch Kit or CSL Pedals Load Cell Kit expands the set to three pedals. The Load Cell Kit also replaces the standard brake and updates the electronics. The optional CSL Pedals Tuning Kit adds metal pedal faces. Compatible Fanatec shifters and handbrakes can connect to the wheel base. These upgrades are not included.
Compatibility
Platform: The supplied bundle is compatible with PS5, PS4 and PC. The included Gran Turismo steering wheel does not provide Xbox compatibility.
Connection and ecosystem: USB-C connects the wheel base to the console or PC. Compatible Fanatec steering wheels, pedals, shifters and handbrakes are supported, subject to their quick-release and connection requirements.
Requirements: AC power and a direct USB connection are required. Xbox use is possible only when the wheel base is fitted with an officially Xbox-licensed Fanatec steering wheel, sold separately. A Windows PC is required for driver installation and firmware updates.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Gran Turismo DD Pro 8 Nm work on PS5, PS4 and PC?
Yes. The supplied bundle is officially compatible with PS5 and PS4 and also works with PC racing titles that support Fanatec hardware.
Can this bundle be used on Xbox?
Not with the included Gran Turismo wheel. Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S require an officially Xbox-licensed Fanatec steering wheel, which is sold separately.
Can I mount the wheel base to a desk or cockpit?
Yes. The table clamp fits tops from 5 to 60 mm thick. Bottom or side hard-mounting uses the supplied M6 T-nuts, but mounting bolts are not included.
How are firmware and force-feedback settings managed?
Firmware updates use the Fanatec PC driver on Windows. Force feedback, steering sensitivity and related settings are adjusted through the Standard or Advanced Tuning Menu.
Can the included pedals be upgraded to three pedals?
Yes. The optional Clutch Kit adds a third pedal. The Load Cell Kit adds a third pedal and converts the brake to load-cell operation. Neither upgrade is included.
