Qubic System QS-H13 Challenger: compact 2DOF seat mover for sim racing and flight simulation.
The QS-H13 moves the seat in pitch and roll to reproduce braking, acceleration, cornering and aircraft manoeuvres. Its compact frame is designed for a suitable aluminium-profile cockpit, while built-in haptic effects can add road texture, engine vibration and gear-change feedback when the game supplies the required telemetry.
Why choose this product?
-
Two-axis seat motion: pitch and roll provide physical cues for braking, lateral forces, weight transfer and body movement.
-
Integrated haptics: feel supported engine, road, kerb and gear-change effects through the seat without relying on a separate vibration device for those cues.
-
Compact and quiet: the seat mover is designed for limited-space cockpits; Qubic specifies less than 58 dB(A) under normal conditions.
-
PC software control: Qubic Manager offers supported racing and flight game profiles plus VR HeadWay motion compensation.
Product details
Qubic System - QS-H13 Motion Platform
The QS-H13 moves the seat in pitch and roll to reproduce braking, acceleration, cornering and aircraft manoeuvres. Its compact frame is designed for a suitable aluminium-profile cockpit, while built-in haptic effects can add road texture, engine vibration and gear-change feedback when the game supplies the required telemetry.
Compatibility
Platform: Windows PC with Qubic Manager. Qubic explicitly states that PlayStation and Xbox consoles are not supported. Individual motion and haptic effects depend on the game's telemetry.
Cockpit and seat: mount the QS-H13 to a stable, compatible aluminium-profile cockpit using the supplied universal mounting adapters. Check the cockpit, seat mounting points, movement clearance and user weight before installation. Qubic strongly recommends a suitable racing seat and harness.
Compatible additions: combine it with the Qubic System QS-BT1 belt tensioner for synchronized shoulder-belt feedback; Qubic states that QS-BT1 mounting brackets are included with the QS-H13. The QS-210-PL and QS-220-PL actuator systems can also complement the seat mover, subject to the full rig's mounting and payload limits. These additions are sold separately.
Technical details: 2DOF pitch and roll; maximum user weight 130 kg; QS-H13 unit weight 33 kg; dimensions approximately 417 × 461 × 231 mm. Qubic quotes approximately 10 ms from telemetry input to physical response and a 120/230 V single-phase supply. The QS-H13 does not create an independent vertical heave axis; some vertical-force cues are represented through pitch and haptics.
What's in the box?
- QS-H13 seat mover main unit
- Universal mounting adapters for compatible aluminium-profile cockpits
- QS-BT1 mounting brackets for a later belt-tensioner addition
Frequently asked questions
What motions does the QS-H13 provide?
It is a 2DOF seat mover for pitch and roll. It can represent braking, acceleration and cornering through seat movement; supported games can add haptic cues such as road texture and engine vibration.
Do I need a cockpit and seat?
Yes. The QS-H13 must be mounted to a stable, compatible cockpit, and a suitable seat is required. Universal mounting adapters are included, but cockpit and seat are sold separately.
Does the QS-H13 work on PlayStation or Xbox?
No. Qubic specifies PC operation through Qubic Manager; PlayStation and Xbox consoles are not supported.
Can I add a QS-BT1 belt tensioner?
Yes. The QS-H13 is compatible with the QS-BT1 and includes dedicated QS-BT1 mounting brackets. The belt tensioner itself is sold separately.
Is the QS-H13 compatible with VR?
Yes. Qubic lists VR and its VR HeadWay motion-compensation feature in Qubic Manager. Check support for your particular headset and simulator.
