A coordinated H-pattern shifter and analogue handbrake bundle for manual road, rally and drift simulation.

The MOZA HGP Shifter + HBP Handbrake Bundle adds two dedicated analogue control devices to a PC sim racing setup. The HGP provides seven forward gears and reverse through a gated H-pattern mechanism, while the HBP supplies progressive handbrake input instead of a simple on/off switch. Both components use aluminium construction and non-contact position sensing, and each can be mounted independently to match the driver's seating position and preferred control layout.

Why choose this product?

  • The HGP combines a 7+R gate, 15-bit non-contact sensing and an optional intelligent downshift throttle-blip function for controlled manual shifting.
  • The HBP uses a 16-bit non-contact sensor with adjustable travel, rebound force and horizontal or vertical lever positioning for rally, drift and road-car setups.

Bundle components

HGP H-pattern shifter

The HGP body is CNC-machined from anodised aviation-grade aluminium and uses a seven-forward-plus-reverse H-pattern gate. A 15-bit non-contact angle sensor measures the lever position without a wearing contact element. The removable knob supports compatible aftermarket replacements, while the standard unit includes the original knob, M6 hardware, spacers and an Allen key.

HBP analogue handbrake

The HBP handbrake uses an aluminium body and a 16-bit non-contact position sensor to provide progressive input. Spring changes adjust rebound strength, and the stop position can be altered to change usable travel. The lever can be installed vertically for a rally-style position or horizontally for a road-car-style arrangement.

Connections and mounting

The HGP can connect directly to a PC by USB or to compatible MOZA hardware through the included RJ11 cable. The HBP connects to a PC by USB. Both devices require a stable rig, bracket or compatible mounting solution. For selected desk and profile installations, the optional MOZA Universal Mounting Plate can support a combined shifter-and-handbrake layout; additional clamping hardware may still be required and is not included.

Software and calibration

MOZA Pit House is used to check inputs and configure supported functions. The HGP intelligent downshift throttle-blip system is optional and can be enabled, disabled or adjusted in software. The HBP should be calibrated after changing the lever travel, spring setting or mounting orientation so the full analogue range is recognised.

Use and upgrade context

This bundle is intended for drivers who want separate manual-shift and handbrake controls. It does not include a wheelbase, steering wheel, pedals, cockpit or desk clamp. The supplied hardware covers the standard device installation, but the final mounting solution depends on the rig and desired left- or right-hand layout.

Compatibility

Platform: Windows PC.

Connection: HGP by USB or compatible MOZA RJ11 shifter port; HBP by USB.

Mounting requirement: both controls must be secured to a suitable rig, bracket, profile or compatible desk-mounting system before use.

Frequently asked questions

Can both devices connect directly to a PC?

Yes. The HGP includes a USB cable for direct PC use, and the HBP also supports direct USB connection.

How many gears does the HGP shifter provide?

The H-pattern mechanism provides seven forward positions plus a dedicated reverse-gear position.

Can the handbrake feel be adjusted?

Yes. Spring selection changes rebound force, while the stop position changes travel. Recalibrate the input after mechanical adjustment.

Is the intelligent downshift throttle blip mandatory?

No. It is an optional HGP software feature that can be enabled, disabled or customised through MOZA Pit House.

Does the bundle include a desk mount?

No. A compatible bracket, profile mount or desk solution is required. The optional Universal Mounting Plate may form part of a suitable installation, but extra clamping hardware can be necessary.
